What is an Trial version?
  A Trial version is a fully functional copy of our software that may be purchased and installed for the purpose of evaluation. It only has a restriction on the trial time 30 days. To remove this restriction, you need to purchase a regular license key from us. The trial version is available for you to make sure the product you are purchasing is what you want.
   
How do I purchase a license?
  WorldMedic Software license can only be purchased online. Go to Product Page section on our website, select the desired license type or support package and follow the instructions.
   
How secure is purchasing a license online?
  Purchasing our products online is safe and secure. To ensure highest level of security for our users, we hand over all payment transactions to PAYPAL, which is the third largest payment processor in the United States. Processing millions of transactions each month, Nova uses latest encryption technology and stores transaction information on its secure servers located in its locked data centers. If you decide to purchase an software license, you will be redirected to PAYPAL Information Systems sites where all the information collection and processing will occur.
   
If I purchased the WorldMedic Software online, how and when will I receive my product license key?
  Upon completion of transaction and credit authorization, you will receive an email confirmation from WorldMedic Corporation's e-commerce provider confirming your purchase within 10 minute you will receive another email directly from WorldMedic  that will include the Download Link, Invoice Number  to fill in  for your purchased product. Please make sure the email address on your order form is valid. If for any reason you don't get email, please email us at [email protected] with your name and license type you bought, so we can check your order manually or Call us at Contact us
   
Do I have to renew a purchased license?
  No. All regular licenses for WorldMedic are valid indefinitely and never expire. However every purchased regular license comes with only one year of email support and updates. If you want to extend this facility after the original 12-month period, you can purchase a yearly support package and renew it every year.
   
What is included when I purchase a regular license?
  One year of unlimited email support and software updates is included with a regular license. If you want to continue with the support and updates after that period, you will have to buy an annual support package.
   
Can I do without a support package?
  Yes. If you feel comfortable with the program, you may not buy a support package after the lapse of one-year free support that comes with the purchase of every license.
   
I bought a license for 4 Users. How do I change a license type to include more users?
  You can change your license type to an upper level, that is, upgrade a license, by paying the difference in price. You can do this on our Price List page.
   
Is there any hidden fee or cost?
  There is absolutely no hidden fee or cost involved anywhere in the scenario. No additional modules or features to add as everything we offer is integrated into the system. Other than the one-time license cost, you need not pay anything. Yes, there is an option of purchasing yearly support package that cost 20% of the original license fee, but you are not required to buy it. One year of this support is included with the license and many customers may never need to extend the support period.
   
What is your policy on refunds?
  A compreshensive Test Drive is available for initial assessment. You are encouraged to explore it before making any decision to purchase a license. Similarly, license for a fully functional Trial version is available at a mere fraction of the cost of a regular license. You are encouraged to avail this facility before you make any decision regarding the purchase of a regular license. Once a license is purchased (either evaluation or regular) and an unlock key issued, it is no longer eligible for refund.
   
Do you offer any institutional discounts?

  Product Installation
What operating system does WorldMedic Software run on?
  The WorldMedic Software included Client and Server installs and runs on every version of Windows XP (including Tablet PC version) with latest service pack installed, Windows Vista.
   
Are there any other specific software requirements?
  No. WorldMedic Software is bundled with all the Main software, Database. No additional software or runtime libraries are needed for its installation or operation.
   
Are there any specific hardware requirements?
  WorldMedic Software has no special hardware requirements. We even encourage solo practitioners and small practices to first try their existing equipment. We constantly measure the performance of our program and make adjustments to ensure that it run smoothly even on low-end computers. The computer on which the WorldMedic Software is installed can be a normal desktop PC or a portable PC.
   
How easy is it to install the WorldMedic Software and have it up and running?
  WorldMedic Software is packaged and come with fully featured install and uninstall capabilities. It takes only a few clicks to install the product and even less to uninstall it completely.
   
How long does it take to install it?
  You can install the WorldMedic Software on your own system in about 15 minutes. See the User Manual for more information.
   
Do I need to be connected to the Internet to install the software?
  No. Once you have downloaded the installer, you do not need to be connected to the Internet to install or use the software.
   
Is installing WorldMedic Software safe?
  All WorldMedic Software is thoroughly scanned for viruses before any distribution. Also, unlike some applications that install a variety of assorted tools and files all over your system, our software has been designed to make the minimum possible number of changes to your computer.
   
Do I need to be a system administrator to install the software?
  It is up to you. You may install as a non-admin or as an administrator. All features of the program should work normally, regardless who installed it.
   
How do I install the WorldMedic Software?
  After downloading and saving the program to your computer, just double click the program to start the installation process. The WorldMedic Software installs using an easy wizard based installer that will guide you through the process. Be sure to read each screen, and follow any instructions they contain.
   
How do I uninstall the WorldMedic Software?
  Uninstall capability is built-in with the WorldMedic Software. You can click Start->Programs, point to the program's group, find and click Uninstall to remove it from your system. Alternatively, go to the Windows Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs, and choose the WorldMedic Software name and click Uninstall. As a safety precaution, uninstalling the WorldMedic Software will not remove the Database. You will have to manually remove it from your system.
   
I have computers but no network. Is a network necessary to use the WorldMedic Software?
  No. Network comes into picture only if the system is to be accessed from more than one computer/workstation/terminal. If only one person is to use the WorldMedic Software, Stand Alone version, there is no need for a network. But if you use Network version, you have to set up LAN.
   
I want to use the system alone. Do I need to have two computers?
  No. You can logon to the WorldMedic Softwrae from the same computer on which you install it.
  Product Customization
Can your WorldMedic Software be customized?
  Yes, WorldMedic Software can be extensively customized through the built-in Setting module.
   
How easy is it to add new sections or drop down lists?
  It is very easy to customize the chart and no programming experience is required for this. You can create new sections or menus from scratch or modify the ones that are already in the system to suit your needs.
   
Can I add new medicines to the medication hot list?
  Yes. You can add any number of drugs to the medication hot list from the database that is included with our system. You can also remove a drug from the list.
   
Can I add more CPT codes to the CPT hot list?
  Yes. You can add any number of codes to the CPT hot list from the database that is included with our system. You can also remove a code from the list.
   
  Product Updation
What is your update policy?
  When you purchase a WorldMedic Software regular license, you will receive one full year of free updates and email support. No matter how many updates we release within the same major version, your update will be free. After your original 12-month period, you can purchase a support package that includes update protection. With the purchase of a support package, you will get another 12 months of free updates and support. Please note that the support package is optional. If you are satisfied with the EMR after the expiry of the initial support period, you may not buy a support package.
   
How often do you update your products?
  WorldMedic Corporation Inc is continually researching and developing its products to ensure they remain at the cutting edge of the technology. As a result we release product updates almost every three months. We recommend you update your software at least every 6 months to ensure that you're using the most up-to-date technology and medical information.
   
Where can I get the update?
  You can get latest updates from our website. The WorldMedic Software server has built-in capability for updating itself. You need to access our website through the update utility and the rest will be done automatically. There is no need to uninstall and reinstall the product for updating. See User Manual for details.
   
Do I need a serial number to update?
  No. Because updated is compatible with only WorldMedic Software.
   
How much the annual support package cost?
  Each support package is priced at 20% of the current price of a given license type for WorldMedic Software
   
What is the difference between an Update and an Upgrade?
  An update is a maintenance release made available within the same version. For example switching from WorldMedic Software 1.0 to WorldMedic Software 1.1 is an update. An update usually contains enhancements to the program. We listen to what you tell us the program is missing and sometimes we add these suggestions to the software, creating a new version called an update. Another possibility for a new update is bug fixes. If users find a significant bug and tell us about it we fix the error and release a new update. An upgrade, on the other hand, is always a major change to the software. It contains so many new features that it is like getting a whole new program. With an Upgrade, the number before the decimal point changes. For example, upgrading from the WorldMedic Software 1.6 to the WorldMedic Software 2.0 is an Upgrade. Because of the extensive changes in the program, we charge for an upgrade. Please note that users always have the option not to upgrade if they are happy with the software the way it is.
   
What is your Upgrade policy?
  New major product releases have significant amount of improvements and new features, and therefore usually priced higher than the earlier versions. Nevertheless, if you are a licensed user of our WorldMedic Software and want to upgrade to a new major release, you just need to pay an upgrade fee. This fee is usually 25% of the price of the product to which you want to upgrade. That is, if you have purchased a license from us in the past, you are entitled to buy any major release of our WorldMedic Software at only 25% of the listed price.
   
  General Questions
Who is WorldMedic Software designed for?
  It is designed for solo-practitioners and small single or multi-specialty groups. Depending upon the license type you choose to purchase, it can facilitate up to 16 simultaneous users. Physicians, nurses, front office staff - WorldMedic is for anyone who gathers patient data at the point-of-care and needs a really usable, comprehensive, and complete system to work on with.
   
Can I see an online demo of your product?
  You can see much more than a demo. Click Download link on our main page and you should be able to not only see but also feel the product in real-time.
   
I am a solo physician and I intend to use the system alone. Which license type should I buy?
  You will have to buy 2 Users license for install at Registration room (Patient Module) and Doctor Room. which is the lowest level available. You can use it alone for now and add more users in future should the need arise.
   
I just purchased the Evaluation version. What capabilities does it have?
  The Trial version is a fully functional of the WorldMedic Software, trial time within 30 days. You can install the WorldMedic Software on your server and use all of its features in a multi-user environment. You can then purchase the regular version online and receive the unlock key. Once unlocked, the restrictions will be removed, and you will be able to use the software indefinitely.
   
Do I have to reinstall the WorldMedic Software after I purchase a license?
  No. You will not have to download or reinstall the program as the new activation key (regular license key) that you will receive after your purchase will transform your evaluation version into a regular and unrestricted version of the license type that you choose.
   
What do I do if my computer crashed and I need a new copy of the software?
  You just need to email us your order information with your name and email address and approximate purchase date. We will send the license key again after verifying the sale.
   
Do I need training?
  WorldMedic Software is very user-friendly and intuitive program. If you are familiar with standard programs like MS Word and surf the web using a browser, you should be able to begin using it without any training. In case you feel a need to learn how to use the program, comprehensive help manual and tutorials are available at our site to keep your learning curve at a minimum. What computer equipment do I need?
  The hardware requirements of our WorldMedic Software are minimal. However, the general rule of thumb is that more the horsepower & memory one utilizes better the performance one can expect. Still, if you are a solo practitioner or a small practice with less than 5 expected users, we suggest that you first try your current equipment and see if it can be effectively used. In this case, just use your best computer to install the WorldMedic Software on and the lower end machines as users. What screen size do you recommend?
  WorldMedic Software is optimized for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. You can change your screen size by right clicking on the desktop to display the pop up box and choosing Properties. If you then click on the settings tab, you should see a section called Display Area or Screen Size. Move the slider from your existing size to 1024 x 768. Say OK to both messages and your screen should flicker and then change.
   
Does your EWorldMedic Software include any CPT and ICD-9 codes?
  Yes, our EMR includes the most frequently used CPT and ICD-9 codes. In case a code is not present by default, you may add it easily to the system.
   
What database do you use?
  WorldMedic Software uses the latest MySQL relational database. We believe it is one of the most advanced databases that exist today. Please visit their website for more information.
   
Can the database handle large amounts of data?
  Yes, MySQL can store and manage 100's of GigaBytes. The size is typically only limited by the amount of hard disk space available.
